Re/Imagination Lab founder Tom Subak cofounded Charley in 2023 with former Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards. Charley is a private chatbot that gives accurate abortion information for people looking for care options. Charley is now a project of the Re/Imagination Lab, maintained by the Lab and a team of reproductive health experts. 

Ongoing AI Benchmarking with Brown University 

The Re/Imagination Lab is conducting research in partnership with the Center for Technological Responsibility, Reimagination, and Redesign at Brown University to evaluate the helpfulness and accuracy of AI answers to abortion access questions across states, languages, and LLMs.
